Public Servant & Realtor Mike Wells Files For Pasco County Property Appraiser
Longtime Pasco County Resident and Republican County Commissioner, Mike Wells, filed to run for Pasco County Property Appraiser, Monday, October 7th.
“I love my community and I am honored to serve it,” said Wells. “The Property Appraiser is absolutely essential to the overall economic health of Pasco county. The strength of the economy and the housing market hinges on an effective Property Appraiser. I want to do my part to make sure Pasco continues to thrive.”
Actively involved in the YMCA, United Way, the Coastal Conservation Association, and the Angelus, Wells’ volunteer work evolved into an opportunity for public service. In 2014, Wells ran to represent the citizens of Pasco County on the County Commission. Since then, he’s worked to balance budgets, keep taxes and fees low, prioritize public safety, and solve neighborhood flooding and traffic congestion. Now, determined to continue making a difference, Wells is running for Pasco County Property Appraiser, putting his experience as a realtor to work for Pasco County residents.
“I am running for Property Appraiser after 5 years as a County Commissioner, where I worked to keep Pasco County safe and grow our economy. I want to focus on continued growth by providing support and making a difference in the lives of families and businessowners all around Pasco County.”
An avid boater and fisherman, Wells and his wife have one son and live in New Port Richey.
